The Design Process
The design process begins with an initial complimentary consultation. It can take place virtually, on-site, or in the showroom. During this time we will assess the scope of your project and determine your needs. We want you to tell us about your ideas, likes, dislikes, and overall goals for the look and function of your space.
Planning and Design
This is the most important and extensive step of the design process. Once retained, we will visit your home to take detailed measurements of your existing space or utilize construction drawings for new or remodeled spaces.
This is the step of our process when we begin to gather design options that blend your aesthetic desires, functional need, and budget considerations for the scope of the project. Using these measurements and the information we’ve gathered from the initial design consultations, we transform your design ideas into tangible floor plans.
Presentation
At this stage, you will be presented with several different perspective drawings that illustrate not only the function and design of the space but the chosen materials for an accurate representation of the space. We encourage your opinions and involvement.
During this meeting, you will make final selections for your cabinetry, finishes, and materials for your new design. We ensure that you are pleased with all aspects of your project and then final approvals for design and materials are made.
Revisions
You will be introduced to the initial estimate for the cost of the cabinetry, delivery, and installation during the presentation meeting. Depending on the changes and the final decisions made during this meeting, we will update the estimate accordingly and send you a revised estimate and set of plans for your final approval.
Approval and Ordering
After final approvals, contracts, and deposits, we will order, track, and schedule the delivery and installation of your items. We make job site visits and stay in close contact with all necessary trades to guarantee your project is installed and completed as designed.
Installation
We will schedule a time with you to have the cabinetry delivered to a designated area at the job site before the scheduled installation. We ask that the space be completely ready for cabinet installation before the scheduled date.
Any interruptions that cause our installers to reschedule will likely cause significant delays to the finished project. You will be informed of all timelines throughout the duration of your project.
